The Google Knowledge Graph is another way to get more visibility at Google, get better positioning at Google on a search engine results page (SERP), and it has the added benefit of essentially promoting your business as an AUTHORITY.
- More Online Visibility
- More Website Traffic
- Better Google Rankings
- Authority & Trust
In a nutshell, the knowledge graph directly uses a box of information on the top right of a SERP to show Google’s answers to a query, not just links to websites that are relevant to the query like you are accustomed to seeing on a search engine results page.
A few other things to keep in mind relative to the Google Knowledge Graph.
(1) Your basic search engine optimization strategy, techniques, and tools MUST BE top notch. It’s not likely you’ll show up in the Google Knowledge Graph unless your website already has “Google Love.”
(2) Knowledge Graph boxes and cards don’t show up for all searches. They typically show up when a user’s query is something like: “how much does a wedding DJ typically cost in Orange County California” vs. “best wedding DJS in Orange County.”
(3) This definitely falls into our category of Advanced Internet Marketing, but the return-on-investment / return-on-effort is solid.
